Overview
Ready-to-use stabilized β-galactosidase mRNA
Concentration: 1.0 mg/mL in 1mM sodium Citrate (pH 6.4)
β-Gal mRNA has been designed to produce high expression level of β-galactosidase.
OZ Biosciences mRNAs are produced by in vitro transcription and stabilized at the 5’ end by modified nucleotides capping (Cap1). These mature mRNAs contain a poly(A) tail at the 3’ end and are also optimized to yield improved stability and performance.
β-Gal mRNAs:
-
#MRNA17 does not bear any additional nucleotide modifications.
-
#MRNA14 is modified with 5-methoxyuridine (5moU) to reduce innate immune responses.
-
#MRNA3 is modified with N1-methyl-pseudouridine (N1-mψ) to reduce innate immune response.
We recommend using our transfection reagents RmesFect or RmesFect Stem in order to reach high transfection efficiency and optimum protein expression level.

Applications
β-galactosidase (β-gal) mRNA, codes for a protein product of the bacterial LacZ gene. β-gal catalyzes the conversion of β-galactosides into monosaccharides. It is a common marker gene used to assess transfection efficiency.
